Alok Nandi is busy working on an exhibition and a parcours on “new cities”, to take place in 2007. This allows to continue the works done on “Utopia” (interactive installation, salineroyale.com website, universutopia / Locus research project), on imaginary cities (Tokyo Vignettes, urbicande.be web-mise-en-scène of the graphic novel series by Schuiten-Peeters).

Alok b. Nandi will be re-exploring “indianity” in different activities in Lille, North of France, this Fall 2006.

While information architecture and interaction design allow to explore the “how”, Alok Nandi is busy, in parallel, with projects related to India and Congo - the “what”. This raises interesting themes such as perception, exoticism, cliché, …
