Architecture of Participation

This open-source related term, also known to be related to Web2.0, is a concept Alok Nandi will be expanding on, in his lecture at Middlesex Univ., March 15th, in London. He will talk about narrative architecture and the design of hybrid spaces.

Alok b. Nandi will share his parcours in the areas of analogical and digital texts, at the interzone of art & sciences, design & technology.

From hyperfiction in the mid-90’s, he went into a voyage exploring questions related to the interface, as well as going below the surface or expanding the narrative envelope. Connecting the text(s) or digging the texts are a.o. the approaches he will share, the fluxographies, building from graphic novels transposed on screen spaces to exhibition design concepts and mise-en-scène through :

  • aspect-oriented interfacing,
  • object-oriented programming,
  • concept-oriented co-designing,
  • project-oriented co-developing
  • Hybrid design praxis allows to focus on architecturing tempo and articulating verb and space.
